Enriquez-Publico pair leads winners of 18th DanceSports

MANILA, Philippines - German Enriquez and partner Ma. Danella Renee Publico and pair of Gerald Jamili and Cherry Clarice Parcon dominated the 18th DanceSport Council of the Philippines National Championship recently at the Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena in Pasig.  

Enriquez and Publico claimed the Standard Grade A title over Tristan John Ducay and Willanne Rose Ducay and third placer Sean Mischa Aranar and Ana Leonila Nualla in the one-day event participated in by more than 300 entries nationwide.

Jamili and Parcon won the Latin Grade A, beating Michael Angelo Marquez and Stephanie Sabalo and third placer Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Cañeda in the event organized by DSCP president Becky Garcia.

The event was sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Flawless, Vitug Beach Resort, Philippine Orthopedic Institute, Retro DCG-FM 105.9, Studio 116, Studio AK, The Greenery Bulacan and Caruso Ristorante Italiano.

Other winners were Brian Joseph Ocana and Karla Stephanie Joy Ocana (Standard Professional) and Ronnie Steeve Vergara and Charlea Lagaras Vergara (Latin Professional).  

The next DanceSport competition is scheduled March 14 for 2015 DSCPI first quarter ranking and competition at the Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena (Ultra).
