Mendoza, Sabater rule ABC all-events

MANILA, Philippines - Joan Mendoza of Boysen Paints and May Sabater of Novelle Furniture topped their respective divisions as the female aces showed up their male counterparts in the Architects’ Bowling Club’s all-events at the E Lanes Bowling Center in San Juan last week.

Mendoza rolled a 1769 to humble Ronnie Javier of Glass Asia (1606), Toto Abear of Novelle Furniture (1569) and Jimmy Ocampo of American Wires (1542) and clinched the Group I crown while Sabater pooled  a 1397 to bag the Group 2 title over Randy Poon of American Wires (1372), Sonny Esguerra of Romari Construction (1353) and Abe Firmeza of Philflex Cables.

Action resumes tonight with the staging of the monthly championships.
