NBA Café Manila offers loyal patrons meet and greet with Iverson

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -- The NBA Café Manila is promising to give its loyal patrons the “ultimate dining and entertainment experience” this November.

Along with the Manila visit of former National Basketball Association (NBA) MVP Allen Iverson, the NBA Café Manila will be offering different dining packages to its customers for a chance to dine with and meet and greet Iverson, a former NBA top rookie pick, on November 4. The said event is one of the activities lined up for Iverson’s forthcoming visit to the country for a charity basketball event.

“We want to offer our avid patrons a unique dining experience by offering them different packages for a chance to dine with and meet their basketball idols,” said NBA Café Manila general manager Nian Liwanag-Rigor. “Slots are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis so I urge everyone to call us now to make reservations.”

Iverson, along with fellow former NBA players Eddy Curry and DerMarr Johnson and the Ball Up Streetball All-Stars will be in town for “All In”, a basketball fundraiser, presented by PCWorx, which aims to raise funds to build houses for poor Filipino families through Gawad Kalinga.

Curry and Johnson will reinforce the local selection made up of UAAP and NCAA players, led by Kiefer Ravena and Jeron Teng, that will battle  Ball Up, backed by former PBA hotsots Jerry Codinera, Renren Ritualo, and Willie Miller.

Those interested to reserve slots for the dining meet-and-greet may call the NBA Café Manila at (02) 556-1683.
