NCA stag derby unfolds

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance holds a seven-cock derby today with Romy Lim and Jun Arcilla heading the roster of invited guests in the event set at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Explosive matches from among the top entries of the country’s leading breeders and cockers are expected in the derby sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor which also serves as a fund-raiser for college scholars at UP Los Baños.

Gov. Ito Ynares and Elan Nagano, on the other hand, will banner the NCA group along with Boy de Roca, Johnny Jalandoni, Pipo Soliman, Vic Yap, Arnold Mendoza and the Firefly Group.

Others fielding in their aces are Edgar Santos, Ruel Ricafort, Luding Boongaling, Osang dela Cruz, Procis Aquino, Claude Bautista, Jose Panganiban, Eric dela Rosa, Edwin Tose, Mario Villamor, Efren Canlas, Jun Jingco and Patrick Antonio.
