Top breeders compete in NCA derby

MANILA, Philippines - Over a hundred top-notch fights are on tap in today’s National Cockers Alliance six-stag derby with the aces from the country’s leading breeders and cockers clashing for top honors at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Gerry Ramos, Cesar Dy, Arthur Alonte, BM Skylark, Habagat, Bulldog, Boyet Ynares, Eric delos Santos, Boy Martinez, Toto Sevilla, Roy Dumancan, Christopher Aguilar, Patrick Antonio, Atong Ang and Arman Santos field in their top entries against those of the NCA roster, guaranteeing an action-packed duel in the derby sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

Heading the NCA cast are Gov. Ito Ynares, Harold Ramos, Mario Villamor, Boy de Roca, Johnny Jalandoni, Pipo Soliman, E. Santos, Ruel Ricafort, Luding Boongaling, Osang dela Cruz, Procis Aquino, Claude Bautista, Jose Panganiban, Ronnie Puno, Peter Unabia, Arman and Manny Santos, Rene Medina, Ang, Efren Canlas, Jun Jingco and Ador Pleyto.

Part of the proceeds of the event, hosted by Mayor Elan Nagaño, Atty. Jun Mendoza, Mayor Tonton Uy, Eric dela Rosa, Butchoy Olano and Edwin Tose, will go to a scholarship fund for college students at the University of the Philippines- Los Baños.
