Watanabe, Fernando head elite moto cast

MANILA, Philippines - Action in the Motorsports Championship Season heats up with the staging of the sixth and final legs of the Pirelli Superbikes Championship Series, the FDR Philippine Scooter Racing Championship Series and the FDR Underbone King Championship Series this Sunday at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.

Defending champion Dashi Watanabe of Aprilia Grandstar goes for back-to-back in the Superbikes, which is part of the Motorsports Championship Season presented by Petronas and sanctioned by the Superbikes Racing Association (SBRA).

Masato Fernando, meanwhile, seeks a fourth straight Scooters crown while Tracy Soyangco guns for the Underbone title in the event sponsored by Petronas, sanctioned by the Underbone and Scooters Racing Association (USRA) and backed by media partners Racing Beat@Wave 89.1, Inside Motoring@dzRJ810khz and Motorsiklo Xklusibo@dzME 1530 Championship Series.

A three-way fight also looms among Clint Nolasco, Jevis Aguila and TJ Alberto in the Pirelli Motorad Superbikes Cup, a junior league for promising future Superbikes riders.

Also on tap are the Shell Advance MotoIR presented by Honda, Ducati Cup 2014, Kawasaki Ninja Cup, the Club R Superbikes Series,  Alpinestars Cup, K58 Series, Honda Dash, Honda Beat One Make Race, MTRT Club Race and the MTRT Club Race 115cc Scooter.
