NCAA postpones Saturday games

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – The NCAA on Saturday postponed its Season 90 games pitting the junior and senior basketball teams of Arellano U and Lyceum at The Arena in San Juan City due to flooding caused by Typhoon Mario.

League Management Committee chairman Paul Supan of host Jose Rizal said they decided to re-schedule the games to a later date so as not to compromise the safety of their students, a day after the storm caused flooding in most parts of Metro Manila.

The league resumes Monday (Sept. 22) with four-peat champion San Beda battling Perpetual Help at 2 p.m. and already ousted Mapua and Emilio Aguinaldo facing off at 4 p.m.
