NCBL unwraps 3rd season on Sept. 17

MANILA, Philippines -  The National Collegiate Basketball League kicks off its third second on Sept. 17 with newcomer and Angeles City-based AIE College clashing with last year’s runner-up Trinity University of Asia at the Technological Institute of the Philippines gym in Manila.

The AIE-C Lions and the TUA Stallions collide at 1:30 p.m. in a double-header that also includes the 3:30 p.m. clash between defending champion TIP against another new team Enderun College.

Drawing opening day byes are inaugural season champion Centro Escolar U and Diliman Computer Technology Institute.

Format is a double-round robin elims with the top two teams clashing for the crown. Each participating school will take turns hosting the games in their respective turfs.
