SEVILLE, Spain – Psy war is on two days before the Gilas Pilipinas-Senegal match.
Chancing upon one another outside the playing venue, top backers and leaders of the two teams engaged in unfriendly banters.
“Filipinos? Philippines?” asked a Senegalese, identified as such by his identification card and the Senegalese shirt he’s wearing.
Answered in the affirmative by the group composed of MVP Group executives, the Senegalese, apparently intoxicated, said: “Go home.”
Meralco top official Oscar Reyes and PLDT top executive Pol Nazareno answered: “Yes we’ll go home after we beat you.”

Renaldo Balkman’s indefinite suspension in the PBA won’t be lifted just yet.
On Sunday, Balkman told a small group of Filipino sportswriters he wants to be back in the Philippines and play in the PBA if given the chance.
“Let’s not go there. I don’t want to visit that place,” PBA commissioner Chito Salud answered on queries whether Balkman’s suspension can be lifted in the future.
“It’s not the time,” Salud also said.
