The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Ducati Superbike riders have been  invited along with Manila Sports Car Club (MSCC) to the Globe Slipstream, a homecoming event for Filipino-Swiss race car driver Marlon Stockinger on Aug. 30 at the Bonifacio Global City.

The race teams of Ducati-Bacchus, Ducati-Access Plus, ATAT, Samson College-Access Plus and Kojie-San will bring their top riders, among them 16-year-old TJ Alberto, superbike master riders Toti Alberto, John Defensor and Alvin Dee, Superbike Open riders Jussi Hoikka, Vince Mercado and Jordan Gaw, Lawrence Macalinao, Jay Carrion, Redge Burilla, Miguel Bichara, Richard Panlilio, Gerald Aycardo,  Nikki Romero, Daniel Savino, Martin Rosario, Monti Mortimer and former superbike champion Raniel Resuello.

Also with the Ducati group are celebrity racers Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Dominique Roque, former Rep.  Ronald Singson and Bullet Jalosjos.

Globe Slipstream will also be a “meet and greet” affair for the fans of Stockinger, Lotus F1 junior driver, who will bring the F1 experience to Manila.

Instead of bringing in the team’s F1 show cars, Globe Telecom, the exclusive business partner of Lotus F1 in the Philippines, decided to bring in Stockinger’s Lotus WSR Gravity Charouz Formula Renault 3.5 car he actually drives in the World Series for a test drive around a customized BGC race track.
