DanceSport tourney slated

MANILA, Philippines - The DanceSport Council of the Philippines (DSCPI) is holding the 2014 DSCPI Midyear Ranking and Competition at the Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena (Ultra), Pasig on July 19.

Highlight of the event is  the newest addition to its categories –  the Argentine tango salon.

DSCPI president Becky Garcia said 284 DanceSport athletes all over the Philippines will compete in the ranking competition supported by Flawless, Vitug Beach Resort, Philippine Orthopedic Institute, Retro DCG-FM 105.9, Water Zone, Studio 116 and The Greenery Bulacan.

On hand to adjudicate the event are seven World DanceSport Federation licensed adjudicators.  They are TheodorosTsaganos (Greece), Royce Yeh (Chinese Taipei), Christian Bradbury (Hong Kong), Herminah Rachmat (Indonesia), Yoshikazu Inazawa (Japan), SittichaiPreyadara (Thailand) and Sutu Ok (Korea) who will act as the chairman.
