Do-or-die for Responders, Cavaliers in UNTV Cup

MANILA, Philippines - PNP and AFP dispute the UNTV Cup Season 2 basketball crown today in a winner-take-all match at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The PNP Responders took the opener of their best-of-three series but the AFP Cavaliers struck back in Game Two to force the decider set at 5 p.m.

PNP also made it to the finals last year but lost to Judiciary and the Responders, to be led by MVP Olan Omiping, are going all out to avoid another heartbreaker.

The Cavaliers, meanwhile, will be banking on veterans Eugene Tan, Ronaldo Pascual and Alvin Zuniga the way they did in their last game.

Spicing up the title duel is a match pitting the Legislative and Executive cagers in an exhibition game.
