Forum tackles Shakey’s V-L

MANILA, Philippines - Two major sporting events set to open its respective campaigns this weekend will be the center of discussion in today’s session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum at Shakey’s Malate.

The Shakey’s V-League Open Conference which kicks off on Sunday, comprise the main part of the long-time public sports session aired live over dzSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Accel, Shakey’s, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.

Attending in behalf of the country’s premier women’s volleyball tournament are Shakey’s marketing and guest engagement director Chez Manalaysay, Jam Evaristo, PR, Events, and Advocacy officer of Shakey’s, together with the organizing Sports Vision headed by chairman Moying Martelino, president Ricky Palou, and commissioner Tonyboy Liao.

The other half of the 10:30 a.m. session will be consisted of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), which opens its 90th season on Saturday.

Discussing what to expect for the new season of the country’s oldest collegiate league are Mancom chairman Paul Supan of host school Jose Rizal University and some members of the NCAA Board.
