Forest Hills Invit’l lures big field

MANILA, Philippines - Close to 300 members, guests and sponsors were vying in the 13th Forest Hills Invitational golf tournament which got under way yesterday at the Nicklaus and Palmer courses of the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo, Rizal.

Presented by Boaz Motors (Hyundai), Unilever (Selecta), Golforce, Inc. and Pioneer Insurance in cooperation with Emperador Deluxe, Megaforce, GFX Inc., Swedis Match (Cricket), Megafiber and Banana Peel, the event stakes a brand new Hyundai Accent 1.4S, P200,000 cash from Taishan Insurance, Club Car golf cart, Texas Eagle golf cart, a nine-day trip to Spain for two from Emperador Deluxe and a Wilson golf set for hole-in-one feat.

The four-day tournament ending June 22 will be highlighted by the Emperador Deluxe awards night Sunday featuring the Hotdog band as special performer and a Hyundai Grand i10 as the grand raffle prize.
