Kang, Sabater cop ABC singles plums

MANILA, Philippines - William Kang of Consnet Builders rolled a six-game series of 1405 to capture the Group 1 crown while May Sabater of Novelle Furnitures scored 1095 to snare the Group 2 title in the Architects Bowling Club’s singles event at the E Lanes Center, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Hermie Prudente of Moldex Pipes finished second with 1279 while Johnny Baluyot of Coach Furnitures had 1276 for third in Group 1 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Pinoy Cruz of E.S.Vidal Builders carded 1075 to place second, while Joseph de Guzman of Glass Asia made 1038 to annex third spot in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by Matson Builders, DN Steel, Romari Constructions, Goldbridge Neighborhood Dental, PNS Advanced Steel Tech, Miraga Trading, Steeltech, WeKonstruct, Morning Sun, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Wallguard/Healthy Homes, Crown Pipes, Duraflex TW/THW/THHN Wires, Philflex Wires and Cables, Emerald Pipes and Concrete Ventures, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of monthly championship, also at E Lanes.
