Sioson, Ballado top Head jr netfest

MANILA, Philippines - Chrislyn Colleen Sioson and Jhastine Red Ballado dominated their rivals in respective divisions to lead the winners in the ninth leg of 16th Head Junior satellite circuit national tennis annual age-group tournament Luzon region in Olongapo City recently.

Sioson, the No. 1 player in two age-group categories, mastered Monica Cortez with a 6-3, 6-1 win in the girls’ 16-and-under finals and a 6-3, 6-2 romp in the 18-and-U to sweep two titles in the event supported by Smart Communications, Smart Sports, Chris Sports, Head Graphene, Toalson and Head, the official tennis ball.
