Junior netters vie in Toby’s-Prince summer meet

MANILA, Philippines - The 13th Toby’s-Prince Summer Tennis Festival unfolds next Monday with the country’s top and rising age-groupers slugging it out for top honors in various divisions at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Manila.

The weeklong event will have a singles ranking or a Philta Category 2 level for boys and girls 18-under, 16-under, 14-under and 12-under and 10-under unisex, a non-ranking beginner’s event for boys and girls 16-under and 12-under and a doubles ranking for 18-under, 14-under and 10-under unisex.

Organizers said that each player may participate in a maximum of two categories with the entry fee pegged at P300 each, inclusive of a free shirt and a raffle ticket during the opening ceremony.

Entry forms must be submitted on or before May 8 for singles participant and May 13 in the doubles.

The event is presented by Toby’s Sports and Prince, in partnership with Smart, and in cooperation with the Philta, Equipe, adidas and Gatorade.
