MANILA, Philippines - Abdulaziz Mbomiko struck with 27 points as Lyceum-B trounced Trinity University of Asia, 66-59, in the 20th Fr. Martin Cup basketball tournament at San Beda gym in Manila Sunday.

Mbomiko buried a triple in the last 1:45 as the Pirates closed out with a decisive 10-0 run to turn back the TUA Stallions and notch their third straight win for a share of the lead in Group A with the Perpetual Help Altas.

Lyceum-A, meanwhile, stunned National Univeristy-A in overtime, 93-89, to even its card at 1-1 in Group B.

In junior play, Xavier School outlasted San Beda-A, 95-93, for its first win in two games in Group B while SBC-B crushed Emilio Aguinaldo College, 79-63, for a 2-1 slate in Group A.

The Pirates trailed the Stallions, 56-59, when Mbomiko rifled in his trey before Christian Pamulaklakin split his free throws and Peejay Soliman drove in for a 62-69 Lyceum lead.
