Claret kids thwart NCR for RIFA gold

MANILA, Philippines - Claret School Midgets B batters Palarong Pambansa bound U13 NCR Team A for the gold in the RIFA Summer Festival.

The Claret School of Quezon City Midgets B (boys born 2001-2002) football team wins the gold medal by sweeping the Rizal Football Association (RIFA) Summer Festival held at the Colegio de San Agustin football grounds in Makati City. The Claretian Red Roosters surprised the Palarong Pambansa bound U13 NCR Team B with a 3-0 score in the quarters and the NCR Team A with a score of 4-1 in the finals.  Team Claret is coached by the school’s highly dynamic sports director Salvador “Bob” Salvacion and ably assisted by Benj Aniceto.
