PNP Responders seek second win in UNTV

MANILA, Philippines - PNP Responders gun for their second win against LGU Vanguards in the UNTV Cup 2 second round elimination today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Fresh from a 75-61 demolition of the MMDA Black Wolves, the Responders are heavily favored to score a victory over the Vanguards who are coming off a heart-breaking 93-91 loss at the hands of Malacañang Patriots.

Game time is at 3:30 p.m. with Olan Omiping and Julius Criste to provide firepower for PNP while Ervic Vijandre and Francis Adriano will carry the load for the Patriots.

Former pro Kenneth Duremdes suits up for Senate Defenders against AFP Cavaliers at 2 p.m. while the defending champion Judiciary Magis take on Malacañang Patriots at 5 p.m.

The Magis opened the second round with a win against DOJ and expect the trio of Don Camaso, Ariel Capus and John Hall to be at the forefront again.

Camaso, Capus and Hall combined for 74 points in their last outing.
