Esguerra, Zubiri bag ABC doubles

MANILA, Philippines - Sonny Esguerra and Lito Zubiri of Emerald Pipes combined for a 1748 to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s doubles event at E Lanes Center, Ortigas Ave, Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Randy Poon and Hermie Prudente of American Wires rolled a 1682 to finish second while the Boysen team of Malou del Rosario and Denis Jalandoon pooled a 1663 to place third in the event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, the ABC board is inviting all licensed architects to join the event held every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 37th founding anniversary with an overseas trip to Bali, Indonesia next month.

The tournament, backed by Novelle Furnitures, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes/Virtuoso/Wallguard, Consnet Builders, Morning Sun, Duraflex TW/THW/THHN Wires, Philflex Wires and Cables, Concrete Ventures, Glass Asia, WeKonstruct, Miraga Trading, Crown Pipes, Coach Furnitures, Moldex Pipes, Steeltech, PNS Advanced Steel Tech, Goldbridge Neighborhood Dental, ES Vidal Builders, Romari Constructions and DN Steel, resumes at 6 tonight with the resumption of the ABC anniversary tournament, also at E Lanes.
