Cabrera scores big in ROK Cup kickoff

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Seaoil-DC karter and ART Grand Prix Asia driver Gabriel Tayao-Cabrera came away with two victories in the kickoff of the 2014 Petron Blaze 100 ROK Cup Karting Super Series at the Carmona Racetrack in Cavite recently.

The 14-year-old Tayao-Cabrera flashed top form to beat the field and capture both the premiere ROK Overall and the ROK Junior crowns.

The twin victories thus lined up the Makati Hope Christian School’s Most Outstanding Athlete of the Year and the only double karting awardee of the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) Motorsports Awards as possible future contender for the Karter of the Year plum.
