Tubod, Lanao del Norte , Philippines   â€“ Thirty-three Grassroots Development Officers (GDO) from all over the country and belonging to the Philippine Football Federation attended the second Grassroots Football Workshop April 1-5 at the Mindanao Civic Center sports complex here.

The workshop was facilitated by eight PFF officials and Masahiro Sugiyama of the Asian Football Confederation.

I am happy that our young football players got the chance to be trained by national coaches,” said board member Harris Ali, also the president of the Iligan-Lanao del Norte Football Association.

The anticipated Regional Football Festival is scheduled at the MCC sports complex April 25-27. This is a joint activity of the provincial government of Lanao del Norte and PFF.
