Summer League cagefest among 6 HS teams unfolds

MANILA, Philippines - The Fusion Advertising Marketing Hub, in partnership with the City of Manila and the Manila Sports Council, stages the 2014 Summer League Inter-Secondary basketball tournament beginning today at the Dapitan Sports Complex.

Organized by the Manila Inter-Commercial Athletic Association (MICAA), and supported by AUB, PNB and Emperador Light and media partner Manila Bulletin, the tournament will have six participating high school teams.

These are the University of Santo Tomas High School, Malayan High School of Science, Ernesto Rondon High School, King’s Montessori School, St. Vincent School and Escuela de Sofia School of Caloocan.

MASCO chairman Philip Cezar, vice chairman Roberto Norbi, Fusion marketing director John Tan and MICAA president Philip Sio have been invited to grace the opening ceremony.  

Tournament directors are Abe Giron and Vince Valencia.
