Earthday Run slated April 13

MANILA, Philippines - Over 300 runners have registered for the upcoming CCP Earthday Run set April 13, at 6 a.m, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Competition in the event supported by Mizuno is in the 3K and  5K distances. Since the fun run is to kick off a whole day of activities  at the CCP, participation is limited to 1,000 runners.

 Those interested may register at Mizuno stores  at the Trinoma Mall (tel. No. 916-6495), SM Megamall, (634-6293), Bonifacio High Street at Bonifacio Global City ( 856-1432) and at SM Mall of Asia (915-1946). One can also register online by logging on to race.com.ph/earthday  run.

Registration fee is P400 for both distances inclusive of a singlet issued  upon registration. Registration at Mizuno stores ends on April 9 while on line registration ends on April 7. For added inquiries call tel. No. 697 7162.

Some activities lined up for the day by the CCP  are various dance  classes, exhibition and workshop to be conducted by Haribon Phils., Bureau of Plant Industry, Bio-Char,  Foundation for the Philippine Environment, Kasibulan and the Kite Association of the Phils.

There will also be performances from Wan Lu and Sipat Lawin.
