PhilHealth faces Malacañang in UNTV Cup

MANILA, Philippines - PhilHealth seeks to keep its unblemished record against an inspired Malacañang as the UNTV Cup Season 2 resumes today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Kapitolyo, Pasig.

With ex-pro Poch Juinio manning the slot and Ramil Tagupa, Jesson Alfeche and Carlo Capati delivering the much-needed points, PhilHealth won its first two games, making it the favorite to beat Malacañang at 5 p.m.

However, Malacañang is determined to snap PhlHealth’s winning run to forge a three-way tie for first place in Group B.

The Patriots are coming off an 81-75 victory over Senate in their last outing and another win will put them in the company of PhilHealth and PNP at 2-1.

Center Gregorio Malapit who fired 17 markers the last time out, will again join hands with guards TESDA chief Joel Villanueva and Marlon Bergonio.
