Jimafer BG tops derby

MANILA, Philippines - Jimafer BG of Efren Canlas dominated its rivals and came away with six points to emerge solo champion in the National Cockers Alliance six-cock derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City last week.

Canlas’ team showed well-conditioned and well-bred roosters that bested entries the Lucky Money RM of Rene Medina, the AA Hari ng Pandin of Manny and Arman Santos, the San Juan Col. of Bong Pineda, the Pasay 7-Cock Big Event of Patrick Antonio, the SR Pedro Joshua of Rep. Unabia, and the Cebu Big Event of Rodelo Diamante.

JU Meroda and Pugad and LB Candelaria wound up second with 5 1/2 points.
