2 share NCA derby honors
MANILA, Philippines - Sundance of Ronnie Puno and Phil Sy and Goldquest Champions of Osang dela Cruz, Procis Aquino, J. Mercado and N. Jarin scored five points apiece to share top honors in the National Cockers Alliance six-cock derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig recently.
Rodelo Diamante’s Cebu Big Event, the CGV Aldo of Mayor Goto and Aldo, the AA Cobra of Atong Ang, the Firefly 15 of Ernie Austria, the CPB AAO of Gov. C. Bautista, the Pasay Big Event of Rep. Patrick Antonio, the Jimafer BG of Jet Fernando, the Natividad AA of Caesar Dy, the Lucky Money RM of Rene Medina, and the SF Blue Quartz 1 of Bebot Uy tied for third with four points each.
Finishing with three points apiece were JT Emerald of Jap Atienza, Wicked of Ruel Ricafort, AA Hari ng Pandin of Arman Santos, National Barkadahan of Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy and SF Blue Quartz 2 Bebot Uy.
Meanwhile, action in the weekly NCA derby resumes on March 11 with another banner cast expected to clash for top honors, also at Ynares Sports Arena.
The event, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, will be hosted by Osang dela Cruz and Procis Aquino, Jun Diamante and Jose Panganiban.
