UAP Manila chapter golf fund-raiser up

MANILA, Philippines - The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Manila Maharlika Chapter will hold the seventh Maharlika Cup golf tournament on March 20 with a huge field expected to see action at Club Intramuros in Manila.

Tee-off time is from 12 noon to 2 p.m. to be followed by dinner and awards rites at the clubhouse. 

With the theme “Beyond Architecture: Swing for Charity,” the 18-hole fund-raising tournament will benefit the UAP Manila Maharlika Chapter’s plans and programs, which include providing lecture series and seminars to young architects leading to their career development, and in carrying out the chapter’s civic activities benefitting the less privileged. 

The UAP Manila Maharlika Chapter is the first and only chapter to be inducted to the Hall of Fame of the UAP, having clinched the best UAP Chapter honors for five consecutive years.

This year’s tournament committee is chaired by Arch. Leo Parinas and past president Arch. Edgar Calma, and is backed by president Arch. Joel Cano, Arch. Dona del Mundo, Arch. Renz Pacba, Arch, Teddy Somera, Arch. Jun Castillo, Arch. Jason Bunag and Arch. Enad Ruiz as members.
