Laursen’s MMA a success

MANILA, Philippines - Fil-Danish world Muay Thai and MMA champion Ole Laursen visited the country recently and graced a well-attended special MMA (Mixed Martial Art) event at the Legacy Gym Complex in Diniwid road, Boracay.

It was a two-day fund-raising event highlighted by eight entertaining bouts featuring fighters from Sweden, Brunei and the Philippines.

Laursen conducted a seminar on Muay Thai and Brazilian Jujitsu, sharing some skills that he learned in training and fighting around the world.

He opened his heart to the Filipinos in the event held to help raise funds for the victims of super typhoon Yolanda.
