Master’s 3-on-3 eyes future stars

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Basketball diehards get another shot at becoming the next hard court stars through the Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge 2014, a nationwide series of 3-on-3 matches in various barangays and universities.

Master, the country’s leading skin care brand for young men, recently launched the second edition of the event which features players aged 16-30 years old.

“We will have tougher challenges and new basketball stars in the upcoming roster,” said Master brand manager Jonathan Pua.

PBA stars Marc Pingris of San Mig and Rain or Shine’s Chris Tiu are the Master brand ambassadors.

The search for the next Master superstars got under way last Feb. 17. Participants are required to sign up at a participating school or barangay hall where each team of players must present one link of Master Facial Wash sachets.

The event will have six conference finals zones – two in the Metro Manila, North Luzon, South Luzon and Central Visayas and Mindanao for a total of 200 barangays and universities.

Each team will slug it out in the elimination matches until they reach the barangay and university finals with the winners advancing to the conference finals.

The Master Game Face All-Star face-off will be held on June 21 featuring the top teams from each conference zone with the champion to receive P50,000 plus special Master giftbacks.
