7-bullstag derby slated March 7

MANILA, Philippines - The annual “Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association 7–Bullstag Derby” series starts Mar. 7 at the Pasay City Cockpit.

Elimination round (3-bullstag) will be held Mar. 7 and 10 while the final round (4-bullstag) is  on March 17.

LGBA president Boyet Plaza said  bullstags allowed are LGBA Old, LGBA Regular, Bakbakan and Digmaan.

Entry fee is P11,000 and minimum bet P8,800.

In a related development, the annual LGBA  screening and wingbanding will run from March 1 to 21 with Avitek Animal Health, Inc. as sponsor.

The 2014 LGBA top officers are Plaza, Nick Crisostomo, Dax Ganzon, Gerry Escalona, Honey Yu, Edwin Aranez and Boy Marzo.
