NCA derby draws banner cast at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - Top entries from the country’s leading breeders clash again today when the National Cockers Alliance stages its weekly derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Hosts Bong Pineda, Vic Yap, Pipo Soliman and Bebot Uy have also invited the other cockers to join the event, which has lured entries from guests Mayor Alonte and Ricky Valencia, Romy Lim and Manny Sazon, and JR Tolentino and friend.

Lito Orillaza, JR Tolentino and partner Firefly Group head the bets from the Big City which also includes Mario Villamor, Edwin Tose, Jun Topacio, Atong Ang, Eric dela Rosa, Osang dela Cruz, Procis Aquino, Manny and Armand Santos, Ruel Ricafort and Butchoy Olano.

Pol Estrellado, Ito Ynares, Vic Amante, Luding Boongaling, Arnold Mendoza and Bernie Atienza banner the Region 4 group while Patrick Antonio, Cesar Dy, Tonton Uy, Jose Panganiban, Eugene Martin and Edgar Santos head the Northern Luzon cast.

Others fielding in their entries are the top breeders from Nueva Ecija: Elan Nagaño, Jun Soriano and Nestor Mercado; Victor Yap and Pipo Soliman from Tarlac; Efren Canlas, Jet Fernando, and Jun and Rudy Jingco from Pampanga; and Claude Bautista, Bebot Uy, Allan Bantile, Brown, Larry Rubinos, Peter Unabia and Jun Diamante from Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the next NCA derby, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, will be held March 4 with the NCA, Manny and Armand Santos as hosts.
