Petron eyes NBA veteran DJ White as import

MANILA, Philippines -- Five-year NBA veteran DJ White is the import prospect of Petron Blaze.

White’s tour of duty with the Boosters is dependent, however, on whether he wouldn’t be signed up by the Chicago Bulls after the NBA All-Star Week.

The 6-foot-9 forward was the Big 10 Player of the Year and Second Team All-American in his final collegiate year with the Indiana Hoosiers in 2008. He was picked by the Detroit Pistons 29th overall in the succeeding NBA draft.
