NCRAA volley: PMMS turns back Olivarez

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Merchant Marine School leaned on Alsali Pajiji’s solid game as it subdued Olivarez College, 22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-15, in the opener of the 21st National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCRAA) men’s volleyball finals at the PMMS gym in Las Piñas yesterday.

The 5-7 Pajiji, a 21-year old spiker from Tawi-Tawi, took charge in the second set, blasting kills and scoring on drop shots to even things up after the Sea Lions dropped the opening set.

He sustained his form in the next two sets where he teamed up with Drexler Morales, Ericson Chan and Faisal Bullong to carry the team to victory.
