CSR leads unbeaten squads in WVL

MANILA, Philippines - Colegio de Sta. Rosa Makati turned back Assumption College, 25-18, 25-15, to post its fifth straight victory in Group C of the 17-and-Under Developmental Division of the Best Center-organized, Milo-sponsored 18th Women’s Volleyball League at the Xavier School gym over the weekend.

San Antonio de Padua also kept its unbeaten run in Group A as it repulsed Baesa Adventist Academy, 25-26, 25-18, 25-12, for its fourth win in a row.

Cavalry Christian Academy logged two wins – the first over Philippine Women’s University, 25-14, 25-19; and then over St. Mary’s College, 25-18, 25-13, to lead Group B with a 5-1 mark.

La Consolation College also notched its fifth win in six games, beating St. Raphaela Mary School, 25-11, 25-14, for the Group D lead.

Hope Christian School, meanwhile, leads Group A of the 17-and-Under Competitive Division with four straight wins following a 25-7, 25-10 romp over St. Paul University-Quezon City.
