World Slasher Cup finals up

MANILA, Philippines - After three separate two-cock preliminaries and three grueling days of two-cock semis, the cast of championship hopefuls that will see action in Tuesday’s grand finals is now complete, even as the surviving entries take a much needed break as they apply their own individual ‘secret regimens’ in the rooster-conditioning and pointing process.

Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, the Year of the Horse chapter of the Slasher is sponsored by Thunderbird Bexan XP, Sagupaan Complexor 3000, Bmeg Integra, Supremo Gamefowl Feeds and Petron.

Some 60 entries with elms and semis cumulative scores of 2, 2.5 or 3 points do battle tomorrow. A 3-pointer who hurdles all its four matches gets a possible share of the title if no entry in Tuesday’s grand finals comes up with a perfect performance.
