Duraflex THW bowlers rule ABC team event

MANILA, Philippines - Toto Abean, Randy Poon, Margie Poblete and Buddy Segui of Duraflex THW Wires combined for 2328 to cop the four-man team event of the Architects Bowling Club at E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Placing second with 2310 were Zeny Prudente, Violy Magsakay, Joan Mendoza and Buddy Segui of Boysen Wallguard while the Steeltech team led by Bibs Luzande, Poon, Rod Salamat and Shin Suzuki finished third with 2294 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paint.

The tournament, backed by Glass Asia, Concrete Ventures, We Konstruct, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Emerald Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables, Crown Pipes, Spurway, Moldex Pipes, Greystone and Dwightsteel resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of four-man team event also at E Lanes, Greenhills, San Juan City.

Meanwhile, ABC president Denis Jalandoon is inviting all licensed architects to join the tournament every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 37th founding anniversary with the holding of invitational tournament in May.
