LSGH, Xavier lead winners in Got Skills

MANILA, Philippines - La Salle-Greenhills-PAYA, Xavier School, San Beda-Taytay and Colegio San Agustin fashioned out big wins in their respective categories in Week 5 of the first Got Skills Age Group Basketball Showdown at the Xavier School Sports Complex in San Juan recently.

The LSGH Greenies posted a 67-43 demolition of Diliman Preparatory School, 67-43, in the 13-under division, with Ralph Luis Labao emerging as the best player with 11 points and six rebounds.

Host Xavier School downed Colegio San Benildo-Recoletos, 65-36, with Lance Alandy Dy topscoring for 15 points, in the 12-under side, while San Beda-Taytay bested School of St. Anthony, 42-26, behind Nathan Tan with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Patrick Carin came up with nine points for CSA as they turned back Don Bosco Technical Institute, 25-21, in the 10-under section, and Angelo de Guzman made seven points for Marist, which downed Xavier, 35-33, in the 9-under.

A total of 930 kids turned up for  the fifth weekend of the cagefest supported by Chris Sports, SKLZ Philippines, Fitness and Athletics Company, No Curfew Watch Store, Wize and Ope Watch and Goody Gulp Milk Drink.
