Open format for ‘Hari Ng Rueda’

MANILA, Philippines - The first NFGB Hari Ng Rueda 8-Cock Derby, led by the National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (NFGB), will adopt the open format.

“Since this is a cock derby, a participant can join the eliminations in different provinces nationwide,” said NFGB president Ricoy Palmares Jr.

For an entry fee of P8,800, the minimum guaranteed prize is P5 million.

The initial schedule: Feb. 5 (San Pedro Coliseum), Feb. 6 (Pasig Square Garden and Tabora Sports Complex), Feb. 8 (Cagsawa Cockpit, Tavabas Complex and Limcua and Juanay Complex); Feb. 11 (Tarlac Amusement Center).

The grand final is set Feb. 27 at Roligon Mega Cockpit.
