Growee holds basketball tryout

MANILA, Philippines - The Growee Basketball team, headed by  five-peat Jr PBA champion coach Mark Herrera, will hold a basketball tryout every Saturday and Sunday at AMA University, San Juan gym and other venues for upcoming international invitational tournaments.

The team, part of the grassroots program of Growee, will be composed of players born 2000-2001,” said Herrera, also the sports director of the AMA U.

Four teams with 15 per team will be formed, with the best 15 to form the Phl Growee Team.

The dates for other venues will be announced later.

The Growee basketball team recently competed in the Thanksgiving Hoopfest in Guam and the Cebu Elite Christmas Invitational where it emerged champion.
