P’que chess under way
MANILA, Philippines - The 71st edition of first Saturday chess tournament gets under way today with another huge field expected to see action at Perez Bldg. Doña Soledad Ave. cor. Australia St., Better Living Subd., Parañaque City.

Titles to be disputed are seniors, collegiate, high school, elementary and women’s.
Organized by Parañaque Chess Association, headed by Dr. Bong Perez, the event is sponsored by Rep. Abraham Tolentino (Tagaytay City), Mayor Edwin Olivarez, Vice Mayor Rico Golez, Barangay Captain Cho Villar, Boy Francisco, Spare and Strike, Shakey’s Pizza (SM Bicutan) and Organo Gold Philippines.
