PABA polls up tomorrow; POC invited

Olmin Leyba - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Amateur Baseball Association (Paba) will elect its new set of officers tomorrow at the Quezon City Sports Club, Paba vice president Ely Baradas announced yesterday.

According to Baradas, all existing Paba members and stakeholders of baseball in the country have been invited to the 2 p.m. activity.

“We are opening the doors to new stakeholders; they can participate in the election and even run as candidates provided they will first become members of Paba,” he said.

Paba’s general membership  will vote for the position of president, as well as three vice presidents, one secretary general and three members-at-large.

Baradas said they have already requested for an observer from the Philippine Olympic Committee and submitted a list of members of Paba and new stakeholders and a new Constitution and by-laws to the Olympic body.
