Panaguiton, Lay shine in ABC bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Eugene Panaguiton of Dwightsteel waxed hot with a six-game series 1235 to pocket the Group 1 crown while Joan Lay of Glass Asia took the Group 2 plum with 1092 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at E Lanes, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills last week.                                                   

Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard scored 1221, Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Acrytex had 1198 and Jerry Cham of Boysen Paints made 1176 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 1 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.                                                                              

Malou del Rosario of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled 978, Randy Poon of Duraflex TW Wires turned in 963 and Ricky Martinez of Concrete Ventures submitted 958 to place second, third and fourth, respectively in Group 2.

The event is backed by Steeltech, Moldex Pipes, WeKonstruct, Spurway, Greystone, Boysen Healthy Homes/Knoxout/Virtuoso, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex THHN/THW Wires, Crown Pipes, and Nation Paints.
