Anton sweeps all 4 PTCC races

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Multi-titled racing champ Carlos Anton of Ethanworx Racing Team unveiled his top form with a rare sweep of all four races against close rivals Joey Pery of Forex/Motul Racing Team and William Tan of Promethium/2GO Racing Team recently in the second leg of the 2013 Philippine Touring Car Championship Series at Clark International Speedway

With his feat, the Baguio-native now wrested the overall lead with 138 points, turning a 14-point deficit in the kickoff leg into a nine-point margin over Pery who’s second overall with 129 points following three runners-up and a third place finish.

The event is organized by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) and promoted by the Philippine Race Car Drivers, Inc. (PRCDI) and co-presented by Kumho Tires, Tiarra Marketing, Forex, Promethium, Velocity Motors and powered by Speedlab, Honda Cars Caloocan and Aeromed Ambulance Transport.

Tough Gear/Bosch Racing Team’s Milo Rivera displayed great promise as he debuted in the country’s premiere circuit racing with two podium finishes, clinching third place finishes in Race 7 and 8.

Rivera was nominated by the AAP to represent the Philippines in the FIA Institute’s Young Driver’s Excellence Academy in Sydney, Australia last October to further boost his competitive skills and learning new driving techniques.
