Garcia apologizes to Roach for scuffle
MANILA, Philippines - Freddie Roach said his counterpart, Robert Garcia, has apologized for the scuffle that took place last Wednesday at the gym. He said Garcia was nice and they both wished it didn’t happen.
“But you know, he wasn’t really part of the altercation. He didn’t kick me. Someone else did,†said Roach, not mentioning the name of Alex Ariza

Not too many government officials flew in for the fight, not even Pacquiao’s fellow congressman. Most notable among those missing is former Manila mayor and now Party List Representative Lito Atienza.
According to election lawyer Romulo Macalintal, the former chose not to watch the fight in deference to the tragedy that hit the country a couple of weeks ago.
On the eve of the fight, there’s very little left of the tickets at the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena. “By tomorrow we will sell them out,†said Bob Arum, adding that he got word that Hollywood star Mark Walhberg had plans of coming over to watch the fight at ringside.
