MNCAA, WCSA hold joint opening today at RMSC

MANILA, Philippines - The 12th Women’s Colleges Sports Association (WCSA) and 10th Men’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (MNCAA) will have a joint opening ceremony today at Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Hosts Enderun Colleges and University of Asia and the Pacific will lead the opening rites starting at 9 a.m.

The opening matches will pit St. Scholastica’s College against Enderun (WCSA) at 10:30 a.m., followed by the St. Paul University Quezon City against UA&P (MNCAA) clash at 12 noon.

School presidents Dr. Edgardo Rodriguez (Enderun) and Dr. Jose Maria Mariano (UA&P) will deliver inspirational messages while executive director Maria Vivian Manila will declare the season open.

Other competing WCSA schools are Assumption College, La Consolacion College Manila, Philippine Women’s University and San Beda College Alabang.  The rest of the MNCAA field include Enderun, La Consolacion, PWU, San Beda, Centro Escolar University and Chiang Kai Shek College.
