Philta Iloilo leg up

MANILA, Philippines - Around 105 participants all over Visayas are competing in the second leg of Philippine Sports Commission-Philippine Tennis Association Junior Championship Iloilo leg this weekend at the La Paz tennis court in Iloilo City.

Philta Mindanao regional vice president Juanito Cansino Jr. said the tournament, including the third leg in Bacolod, will serve as a tune-up tournament for players competing in the coming Bacolod Batang Pinoy National Games.

Ma. Dominique Ong and Averille Sacapano lead the girls’ 18-under class, while Mary Grace Zapanta plays for the girls’ 16-under class and Luke Flores and Jet Sta. An play for the boys’ 18-under category of the competition supported by the PSC.
