MANILA, Philippines - University of San Carlos (USC) and Centre for International Education (CIE) dominated the field in the recent ICTSI-JGFP Visayas Inter-School golf championships at the Cebu Country Club course in Cebu.
Shotaru Suda, Kerwin Sytiongsa, Harvey Sytiongsa, Jan Mikhail Ybanez and Sir Cross Abarintos pooled 237 to power USC to the seniors’ division plum while Wei Wei Gao, Ryo Haga and Jun Haga aggregated 231 to lead CIE to the junior division crown of the 36-hole tourney.
Sacred Heart School (Ateneo de Cebu), represented by Alyeska Yunam and Ericka Lim, captured the Girls 2 title with a 168 total, and also the Midgets 1 PAREF Springdale School through Scott Patrique Reyes, John Edward Delas Penas, Ryu Tatara, first runner-up Sacred Heart (Ateneo de Cebu) Nijel Montefolka, Ethan Maamo, Guilbert Purcia IV and Jud Daniel Yap, second runner-up Centre for International Education Joaquin Velez and Wei Yu Gao.
