Zubiri, Prudente dominate ABC meet

MANILA, Philippines - Lito Zubiri of DN Steel waxed hot with an eight-game series of 1696 to cop the Group 1 crown while Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes rolled a 1377 to annex the Group 2 plum in the Architects Bowling Club’s All Events Singles Championship at E Lanes Center, Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard scored a 1618, Romi de Jesus of Boysen Acrytex made a 1610 and Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled a 1589 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 1 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Violy Magsakay of Boysen Virtuoso turned in a 1355, May Sabater of Spurway had a 1334 and Abe Firmeza of Greystone came up with a 1330 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by Morning Sun, Concrete Ventures, WeKonstruct, Boysen Healthy Homes/Knoxout, Crown Pipes, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex TW/THHN/THW Wires,Dwightsteel,Glass Asia, Coach Furnitures and Eurolux Lightings, resumes Tuesday with the staging of monthly championship also at E Lanes.
